Remember the last time you were horrified by the airport scales slowly rocking over your allowed weight allowance?
The charge rate for such catastrophic mistakes is on the large side as well.
We occasionally- depending on budget- attempt to lighten the load by chucking the ‘non-essential’ items in the bin.
Well, it’s time for us to learn.
You’ll notice I have including myself in that statement, I’m yet to realise that everything I have here (shampoo, conditioner, moisturiser) I can actually get where ever I’m going. Within reason, of course. Shocker!
It’s often hard enough as it is to squeeze all your belongings into a case or backpack, so why do we take all these extras?
Buy it there, if possible.
Open your eyes. The stores that line the streets of China, America, Australia and so, are filled with hair products, wash products, sunscreen and after sun.
Often at a more competitive price too.
Stop attempting to carry 500ml bottles in your suitcase and just grab a bottle for a couple of the local currency.
You might find a new favorite.
The smaller, the more practical it is (plus everything looks a lot cuter).
Most items you’d need to tick off your essential list can be found in much smaller sizes.
They are often on offer too!
- Hair products (shampoo/conditioner)
- Hair luxuries (Hairspray/oils/gel)
- Body wash
- Suntan lotion
- Perfume sprays
- Sanitary products (sorry boys!)
The list really does go on and on.
You can even get mini styling products such as straighteners and curlers!
These miniature goodies are often under or are 100ml meaning you can even carry up to 10 of them in your hand luggage.
You can find packs including some of the essentials.
Aren’t these manufactures being good to us.
